I went to the library today and no one recognized me. Rather strange really, I mean I have been working there for ages now. I guess I'll just take the day off then, not really in the habit of such things, but nothing that can be done about it now.
None of my clothes fit properly and this flat is just a tad bit small... Lacey and Martin don't even have rooms. Well I technically don't even have a room, just a bed. Which the cat has seemed to have taken over.
The school year is over, isn't it? ...So where are my children? Do I have children? I haven't lived in a place like this in years. |

I've heard talkings of someone wandering around starkers. There's been chatter here and there almost all day about it.
You know, truth be told I'd say it sounds like quite a lot of fun really. But then I'd have quite a bit of people scandalized at me. Oh well, I still think it sounds like fun. Could never get away with it at work though. Or really much any place.
The Ancient Greeks used to do sports naked, after all. Imagine playing Quidditch naked, that probably wouldn't be very comfortable at all. |

I can't possibly imagine hunting personally. But I have heard of populations needing to be controlled. With this current issue we can't really know if there is a need for this movement without proper statistics on if their populations have reached a number where they are reaching danger from muggles.
Not that I'd advocate killing them, but it is possible that they have a point and that it's not just from a cruelty standpoint. Though there is most likely that as well.
I mean, if it was some beast that everyone felt was horrid, and not unicorns, would people still be so aghast? Guess we wouldn't really know.
Must find my copy of The Most Dangerous Game. I haven't read that story in quite a while. At the moment I feel it apropos. |

Huh, you know I'm not sure if my hair is hair anymore. It looks more like one of those poofy toys that you buy for children. I look almost frightening, it's very amusing I'd like to think. Going to have to take a picture and send it to my brother so that he can put it right next to the picture of me with blonde hair, which in retrospect was not a very good idea. ( Private ) |

I've got a rather large lump on my head from that falling money. Did hurt quite a bit. At least I only got hit once though, suppose it could have been worse. |

Seems to be a lot of things going on lately that have people unhappy. Those dolls really were rather unkind, though I'm sure they are making money for whoever thought them up.They were rather cruel jokes though. Then with certain people being released... Well everyone deserves a second chance, I guess. I think I'm going to read through the Divine Comedy. Always leaves you feeling hopeful by the time you get to the end. ( Private ) |

I don't have much of a head for politics at all. Though it does seem everyone is offering some opinion of this most recent turn of events. While blame can go where blame does, and anger can as well, I can't help but wonder at the fact that at least we can have anger and voice it.
For so much of history is full of times when that was simply not possible. Someone pushed this bill in using their own freedom to speak out and it can be pushed out by the same right. It's a lovely thing to watch really, despite all the horrible feelings that are aroused. |

MY BOOKS!! Snow is not good for books! It's not very good for Winnie's or Pooh's either! |

I think I'm going to go to the British Museum tomorrow. Been living in London for how long and I've yet to make a trip! I feel very neglectful towards it, such a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. I'm not sure what the current big exhibits are right now but there usually free and always interesting.
Might spend the whole day out in Muggle London. I do need to replace some of those books felled by the Doxies and I haven't gone out exploring nearly as often as I'd like. Does anyone else want to come? Museums are always more fun with friends. |

It's a bit depressing that a holiday that's supposed to be about love and happiness has seemed to cause everything but. I sincerely hope everyone has a better day today. ( Private to Tim ) |

1.Dinosaurs 2.Doxies 3.Dragons
So far the only similarity is the letter D. It's quite dastardly really, devilish demons of D. If we continue in this direction of damage, we're determined to run into Dracula and possibly even a deranged Dormouse. I'll have to check the dictionary to see what other dangers we could face. |

First Dinosaurs and now Doxies. I'm wondering if there is anything else that begins with the letter D that is going to end up invading. Pooh hasn't discovered that he really should not try to hunt them. Apparently the doxies don't like him anymore than the dinosaurs did.
I know there are already other people asking and whatnot, but anyone know of a place we could stay? I suppose I could ask people at work... |

You know cats really are quite tricky I've found out. I found that one of my gloves has a hole in it, and since I don't have sharp little claws for making holes with, I think I know the culprit. He's been very cross with me lately. I'm thinking it was from those little dinos a few days ago, he didn't much get along with them. He's got a scratch on his nose from trying to eat one of them.
I got a letter from my sister today too. Hadn't heard from her in a while. Sounds like she's doing well, which is good. I should probably write her a letter back some time tonight. |

Oh today is just so very exciting! It's like we've gotten sucked back into one of those stories, only it's real history instead of like the fairy tales. It's absolutely brilliant to watch. Much better than daydreaming about it. Though I suppose we all sound rather queer to them.
And I do think I ran into Mungo Bonham this morning. Hopefully he is all right with my apology. I did not mean to walk right into him, but there's just so much to be distracted by today! |

I always love Christmas. It's rather sad when it's all over though. Like all the excitement that's just built up is just let go and you can get awful tired when it's all said and done. I've wanted to nap all day today.
Pooh still hasn't let me clean up all the wrapping paper. I think he liked the paper more then his gifts. |

So I asked the children today what I should name the cat that has decided to make me his human. They went over a few names that they liked and then one little girl said that I should name him Pooh. He is all tan, so they thought the name fit and they all liked it a lot. So when I came home I asked the cat if that would be all right and he just went back to sleep so I'm guessing it's a good enough name since he didn't hiss or anything.
So the cat has a name now. Pooh. I should probably get tags. |

I... I don't think I'm going to go outside today. All of my clothes, all of them!
I'm probably still too sick to go to work anyway. I'll just stay here with the new cat. The fashion for today is just a little too cruel for my nerves. |

I had to give up my lunch break to wait in line, but I've a new signed book and that's very exciting. It's not often that a good biography comes out, let alone one that's deemed good enough for the author to actually do book signings. Though Uric the Oddball always was an interesting figure in history at the very least.
I'm going to have to reread it now since I dug it out of the bookcase to get signed. Though really it's too bad it was just a book chat and not one of those Q&A things.
Congrats to Cho too! I heard on the wireless this morning, very exciting! |

There were muffins, everywhere. Absolutely everywhere. I can't think of a better thing to wake up to. Except maybe a cute puppy, but I don't think it would be a nice thing for it to be raining puppies.
I think this counts up as one of the best days ever. |

I love Halloween. What other day do you get to dress up as anything you want? It's like putting on a different skin almost. And we got to dress up at work, which was even more fun. There were some cats and pirates and such but I went as Gepetto and I've even got my own little Pinocchio! I've got him charmed to talk to the kids but I had to put him away because he talked too loudly.
You know mustaches are really quite itchy and when I sneezed earlier it flew what must have been across the room. It was spectacular. Still, I like my costume. I wish there were more days we could dress up on. |
